As part of the Bishop Auckland Renaissance Initiative, a public exhibition is set to take place in Bishop Auckland Town Hall Library.

The exhibition will begin this afternoon until Monday, February 2 2009.

This second renaissance exhibition will focus mainly on the Market Place and will include plans showing the intended public realm works which have been amended, to take into account comments from the initial exhibition, held in March 2008.

On the following occasions officers from Wear Valley District Council and Durham County Council will be in attendance to answer queries and to assist with questionnaires:

Tuesday January 20 and 27, 2pm - 4pm
Wednesday January 21 and 28, 10am – 12pm
Thursday January 22 and 29, 4pm - 6pm.

The Market Place project will follow the renaissance works already undertaken by Wear Valley District Council at the Theatre Corner and Fore Bondgate.
